I am not a cat, but I have nothing to envy them, because my successive lives have given me the chance to enrich myself with memories, experiences and multiple encounters. At 55, sporty and dynamic, I have been running Villa Piana for five years while working as a spice buyer. I travel the world in search of the richest essential oils in terms of their olfactory power (Clove leaf from Madagascar, orange and lemon from Spain and Sicily, cinnamon from Sri Lanka). Like a globe trotter, my job leads me to travel regularly across the continents (Guadeloupe, Morocco, Indonesia, Dominican Republic, Ivory Coast, Paraguay, South India…).

Everything is an invitation to escape

My friends say that I have a pronounced taste for the authentic and for the novelty, which is perhaps why my cuisine is so rich and fragrant. My spices come from distant lands such as turmeric from Kerala, black pepper, ginger and hot peppers from Tamil Nadu in India, vanilla extracts from Tahiti, and pods from Madagascar.

With attention to decoration and aesthetics, I wanted to make the guest house a space of well-being, cozy and comfortable. During a dish or a discussion around the swimming pool or in the vegetable garden, I will be happy to tell you some anecdotes from my last expeditions. For my crush and when the weather allows it, I don't hesitate to pack my bags to live some adventures in Corsica, in my favorite spot Piana. This magnificent village with its creeks is the origin of the name of my guest house..

Beekeeping, pottery, shared hobbies

I am passionate about pastry which I gladly share during workshops, or simply in my kitchen preparing the dessert for the tables d'hôtes. I also practice beekeeping and also have a small apiary from which I extract the honey that I will make you taste during your breakfasts. I won't forget to introduce you to my many jam recipes; in this regard it is not uncommon to see the cauldron in the kitchen in season. And if you feel like it, I will accompany you to test your pottery skills, at the pottery workshop of the Convent, not far from the Villa...
